Striped Tee Style Session
I had so much fun collaborating with my friends Ashley & Amanda to show you our take on a simple striped tee! If you missed my style session video you can find that link here!
The (black & white) shirt in my style session is a classic from Madewell. Size up one size to give it less of the “fitted-tee” look. The thing I love about using a striped tee is that it allows you to add two colors into the mix without a crazy abstract pattern… you know, I just like to keep it simple!
Look 1//
Jacket// It has a bit of an oversized fit, but I love the update version! Stick with your true size on this one.
Tee// Stick with your true size, it already has an oversized fit!
White-Shoes// These are so simple and are a great way to add a basic tennis shoe to your closet!
I think these are a timeless staple for sure!
Look 2//
Shorts// I sized up one from my normal jean size to give me a loose fit.
Tee// I stuck with my normal size.
Shoes// My go to shoe closed toed shoe for Spring & Summer. True to size.
Blazer// I love the fact that this blazer is a knit! It’s comfy while still adding that pulled together look to your outfit. True to size.
Look 3//
White Denim// I’ve been searching for a non see-through pair of white jeans for what feels like FOREVER! These are great! The material isn’t to thin and they’re comfy! Stick with your true size. - Reminder you want your jeans to fit snug as they will give a little over time!
Mule// The update on these mules is A+. I insole is comfy & they run true to size!
Abroad Tote// These bag is one of those classic I will keep for many years! I love the simplicity, the magnetic closure (don’t worry it doesn’t look tacky), the “carry it all” size, and the lighter brown color!
Look 4//
Slim-Wide Leg Black Denim// These run small, size up one from your normal size for a comfortable fit.
Leopard Flats // I incorporate these into looks from every season. These are a classic take on Mary Janes that run true to size.
Denim Jacket// I liked the classic fit better than the oversized version because I felt it could be styled with more. I did size up one to give it a looser fit for laying!
