Renovation Inspiration
Thinking about where to start with the design of our renovated can feel very overwhelming! The first thing I did to start the process with our home in Birmingham was search for color inspiration! I knew I wanted to keep things simple, but that didn’t mean keeping e v e r y t h i n g white like I did in our previous home.
I have decided to incorporate
GREEN
throughout several spaces in the house and I can’t wait to see the vision come to life!
When I went to my first design meeting in Birmingham I was motivated to make sure I was choosing what worked in our home and not what social media was telling me to do! For me that meant, no subway tile in the kitchen, a dark(er) island and refinished (bleached) wood floors! After our meeting I was pleased with all the decisions I had made, and knew that I was creating a home our family would enjoy. Since then, I have pulled together an inspiration board based off of lighting and appliance selections made. I am so excited to take you on this journey with me as we turn this house into our (simple) home!
